I just got back from Seattle!

I took a trip over Labor Day with my girlfriend, Jill, and it was a blast. Didn’t get a great deal of Web Design done, but then again, vacations aren’t really supposed to be “working” trips now are they?

We didn’t have as much opportunity to explore the Seattle area as I would have liked, but we did manage to get to Microsoft and down by the Sound. Bit of trivia: Did you know the largest octopi in the world are in Puget Sound in Seattle? Yeah, crazy right?

As you can see from one of my pictures that I took, it was pretty hazy. I’m hoping next time we’re out there its a lot clearer. I didn’t get a chance to really see much of the mountains in the area. I also wouldn’t mind actually taking one of those ferries out into the sound.

Classes started back up this week. I’m not really looking forward to it, but I do enjoy the program I’m in. I’m taking a couple classes for my masters at Indiana University, specifically for my Capstone and a Theory course. I’m also taking a class (independent study) that will focus heavily on Adobe Flex.

All and all I think it should be a pretty good semester.
