Terry is the author of the Shannara series of books. When I was a little kid, he was literally the first adult author that I read. It was really exciting to hear him read from his new book, “A Princess of Landover.” I was able to get a First Edition of the new book signed, as well as the old, ratty copy of the “Scions of Shannara” that I pilfered from my dad’s library almost 20 years ago.

]]> I was driving to work this morning and WFIU (NPR / Campus Station) was playing some classical music that REALLY reminded me of Final Fantasy Tactics. Now if you don’t know me well, you might be thinkin, “God that sounds kinda dorky.” Yes. Yes it is.

It really makes me want to go back and replay some of those old games. Tactics, Final Fantasy 7, the original Metal Gear Solid. Hell, I’d settle for time to play the new Star Ocean when it comes out in a week or two.

That’s not very likely though.

Seriously, who would go back and replay some of those old games if they had the time? Would you rebuy Final Fantasy 7 if it came out for PS3 (or, if you’re like me, would you BUY a PS3 and THEN rebuy Final Fantasy 7 if it came out for PS3???)
